Pure Encapsulations EPA/DHA Essentials is a dietary supplement with fish oil concentrate from anchovies, sardines and mackerel, providing 500 mg of EPA and DHA per softgel (300 mg EPA and 200 mg DHA). EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, and DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision and normal brain function. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA for the heart, and 250 mg of DHA for vision and brain. The oil undergoes multi-step molecular distillation and is tested for heavy metals, PCBs, dioxins and furans, microbiological contaminants and oxidation. The product is gluten-free and non-GMO.
